About Hillbilly Boogie Music Festival

We are one of the few known music festivals to promote local Saskatchewan talent at an affordable ticket price. What started as a small little shindig East of Kenaston has grown. We are in our 11th year and each year we grow thanks to you!!!

We have a unique stage nestled in Mother Nature's sound bowl and we are surrounded by rolling hills and big sky. The evening sun setting behind the stage can't be beat. It's a hillbilly experience that you'll never forget so be sure to c'mon down and see it all for yourself!

Be sure to check out the schedule for our lineup.

Who We Are

We are a grassroots group of community members coming together to ensure the continuation of the annual Hillbilly Boogie Music Festival. Through hard work, collaboration and determination, what started with a handful of people has evolved into a robust committee. All are driven to improve upon the talent-rich festival's facilities and services while strengthening community connections. The festival started in 2012 growing and improving each year. We are proud to have been nominated for the SCMA "Music Festival of the Year" in 2019 and are eager to continue and build upon the festival's promising trajectory.

Where We Are Located

In the land of rolling hills and stunning sunsets. The Hillbilly Boogie festival site is found 15km east of Kenaston, Saskatchewan, on the farmland of a founding festival member. We acknowledge we are on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis. We pay our respect to the First Nations and Métis ancestors of this place and reaffirm our relationship with one another. We show appreciation for this festival space by respecting the land it's held on and celebrating the musical talents abundant in our province.
